It had to happen. Mr. Murphy would not let that go well, he would lose all credibility if he had.

Mr. Murphy must have been busy that day enforcing the law in other places. He could have had so much more fun with that situation!!

It did not go as badly as I had imagined when I saw the very first frame of the video.

What are they called in Texas? In Canada we call them zoom booms or telehandlers. I heard you have different names down there.

Much like the name Bobcat has become the generic name for skid steers no matter the brand, the brand of telehandler that is often associated with these construction lifts is Sky-track. The pet name on many sites will be skyhook. "Go get the skyhook". The one I used to have I called it the monster-smash, befitting of its nickname it was a cantankerously old clunky difficult to operate monstrosity that would easily smash everything in its way, additionally it had a 15 ft tall jib mounted to the crown of the boom with a winch making it sort of a stiff neck crane. Fork it, hook it or smash it every time we used it became an adventure.

Similarly around here (NE USA) these are often referred to as "Lull lifts" or just "Lulls" due again to a particular manufacturers brand name becoming a generic term for that style machine.
