    Table saw sled

And this is my table saw sled

It is a classical design, but I have focused on security, making this little cage to protect from the blade when it's crossing the front wall.
There is also a bar above the blade to protect the fingers when you push the sled.
Notice how I constructed the walls, I didn't have wide enough stocks, so I glued back to back two planks, taking care of the growth ring orientation.

    Christophe,
Nice looking and a lot fancier than the one I use for recutting small parts that are too short and too dangerous an operation to do the normal way. The protected enclosure on the backside is a clever idea and makes it a lot safer than what I use. I will add this my sled. The only change I would suggest is to replace the bar above the blade with a small piece of clear plexiglas sheet so you can see the blade cut progress all the way through and also see when things are binding and about to go really dangerous.
    Thanks for showing this design

Thank you Paul ! Yes that's a good idea for the plexiglas, I will have to do that.
Additionally, it will protect the face from dust projection .
    Thanks, read you soon
    Cheers !
