I don’t want to disparage the craftsman that made such a nice looking block, but I winced in the first few seconds. You may think that this safer than a push stick or fingers and that is so. But machine woodworking regulations in the UK preclude its use, since there is no guarding OVER the blade. Suppose he were to stumble on an offcut? Also, the handle on this block means he is passing his wrist over the blade. Not safe. Not at all.
