    T nuts for my mill

I find myself sorely lacking of T nuts which will fit my mill, as it only has 9/16" slots while everything else has 5/8" slots
thus far I had previously gotten way with just using T bolts in it, but today the set up required me to make some T nuts.
I had already started setting up to mill an I beam, and not wanting to take the time to put the vice back on it I decided to just make some T nuts out of 1/2" flanged nuts the slots being narrow I figured these cut down flanged nuts would work just fine. I cut the first one just by scrafing the saw blade along the nut until it started to cut but the results were not the greatest the cut was a little too close on 1 side and a little too far on the other.
That is why I made the guide. The rest of the buts came out just fine. They are not as heavy duty as real T nuts and someday I may get around to making some proper nuts

They work great. The nuts are hardened grade 8 nuts to begin with. Hard enough to dull a new hack saw blade after making only 6 of them. I can really wrench down on them if need be without worry of them striping out like a gr5 nut would do with the sides cut away as I did to them.
