    Seems rather excessive to tie four knots for each suture to ensure that it stays locked. Perhaps surgeons need to talk to a butcher, skilled in rolling beef, to learn to tie knots that don’t slip. (Or a sailor).

    I wonder what the material is that they are stitching. I have read that they used pig skin at one point for training. They did not however demonstrate the "running stitch" which is used in larger lacerations and surgery closures.
