Yep, just because you used a tenths DTI doesn't mean you can brag that you checked your square's orthogonality to tenths accuracy.
I wanted novices to be made aware that verifying the orthogonality of the outside angle of the square doesn't automatically proof the inner angle.
Designing test procedures like this requires the ability to visualize all sorts of possible error mechanisms. It's good training for designing machining setups.
