And just think, by the looks of it, the camera guy got smacked too.

That's fairly inconsiderate and stupid for a skateboarder and camera guy to act like they own the whole road, endangering other motorists and such. Unfortunately, that's quite the status quo for the YouTube/social media crowd. Anything for another "Like" or increase in popularity.

Of course, no insurance on behalf of the skateboarder. I would sue for negligence and collect from both the skateboarder and the cameraman. Wouldn't make my injuries or the bike any better, but that's just plain careless, reckless, and a total disregard for safety.

And stupid, too…all he had to do was keep to the right and everyone would have been ok…no situational awareness at all. Also…based on the other traffic…the motorcycle was on the wrong side of the road.

Hang on! The motorcyclist was on the wrong side of the road! Notice the first vehicle they pass, as well as where the first cyclist was when he came around the corner. At the end, the skateboarder headed for the other side of the road to avoid the biker, and the biker turned that same way immediately after. As dumb as the skateboarding thing was, the wreck wasn't his fault. Of course, I find motorcycling dumb, too, and I used to ride.
