Hello all, just joined the forum when I found some info on a index system for a mini lathe. I have been working around machine tools for about 40 years now. I am gong to mount my Servo drill press head on the lathe I have ordered. I am getting ready to make some carburetor parts for my 1973 Z1 and will need the index plate to locate the #73 and #64 holes I have to drill in the bleed tubes. It looks like there is a lot info to be found on this site. I am looking forward to seeing what there is here.

Bikes and machining is a great (and complementary) combination of skills. Post some pics of your carb project - lots of us would enjoy following along.

I will once I get every thing set up. My lathe should be here next week. I have to make up the index plate and mount the Servo drill press head to get started.
