Did they squeeze an engine in there? Did they take the two middle cylinders out? Somebody spent a lot of time on that build. I'm impressed.

Yeah stupid me. I making a joke about it being an inline 4 and lopping two cylinders off to make it narrower. Taking 2 cylinders off a boxster engine isn't going to reduce the width. Which is extra stupid of me because I own a car with a boxster engine. I need some extra IQ points.
Maybe lose the rear suspension and shorten the axles? I dunno. I tried to search for that Beetle online but there were no details on the build.
I was thinking that would be a cool little electric car. Do up the outside like a restomod prewar Beetle and outfit the interior with glass dash and other modern techno stuff to make the perfect around town car for a dystopian future.
