    Flying in an Airbus in Europe is among the most exciting things an air passenger can do since most of the airports there are on the smallish side with significant noise restrictions in the surrounding areas. This often results in full power, steep take offs and high diving descents which border on pulling negative G's.

    Jim, yea, they are like flying in a giant beanbag! Very little sensation of thrust on takeoff and the touchdown is pillow soft...I'm partial to a sound drop at touchdown..

    Probably certification flight testing of the A380 checking susceptibility to wingtip vortices from the leading aircraft. Would have been a better test had the leading aircraft not had winglets.
