    The simplest paint stirring tool

    Hi All
This is a simple paint stirrer made from a piece of 3mm Tig welding rod bent up with a pair of pliers and used in a battery drill. This really mixes the paint quickly and effectively in seconds. I wish I could claim it was my idea but sadly not. I read this in a book called “how (not) to paint a locomotive by Christopher Vine. I have only ever used it on small tins of modelling paint so not sure how it would work on household paint tins with a bigger framed stirrer.Another great advantage, if I have mixed to much paint I can seal and stir in the airbrush bottle at a latter date. Very simple but very effective.

Great tool for not much money

Nice idea, but I don't think it's effective enough.

    Hi Diyfixan
Do you mean for the larger tins of paint? As I am very happy with the results on the smaller tins and spray bottles.
    many thanks
