    Simple square shooting board

There are so much examples of shooting boards , sometimes very sophisticated, here is my square version , very simple :

The originality of my version is more in the way I hold it locked in the vise on the bench. I don't like too much when it's just stopped at the edge of the bench.

    Another nice job.
I suppose that you realise that if you turn this upside down it can also be used as a bench hook, and used with a tenon saw, either across the bench edge or held in the vice.

Thanks, that's right, it can be used several ways. But my preference goes to the fixed position, held into the vice.
    Cheers !

It looks like a bench hook to me. I use mine to saw wood on.
