    Simple jigsaw table

Im working on a small room, so i need to save space when its possible.

I made a jigsaw table from a foldable workbench and a metal sheet.

I can quickly remove the jigsaw from the table and then use it as a workbench.

Idea can be seen from this 3min video.

I also made a prototype from the blade guide from scrap i had. My intention was to make neater one someday..
But this one has worked so well that i haven't bother to do it, maybe later.

Mostly i use it to cut alumine, it handles 5mm sheets easily.

It can be seen on this video:

Excellent idea. Now I know what to do with that seldom used workmate that takes up needed space. Thanks

Tuomas, thanks for sharing. I've got exactly the same workbench and just as a limited room. On top of that I can access my brother in law's workshop, which is equipped also with a professional sheet metal bending device. What's more, they regard the metal sheets of the size I've seen in your video as "scrap" (one man's trash is another man's treasure). I think I'll adopt your homemade tools philosophy.
