Would It be safe to assume the container is empty? Operator seems to do all he can to keep as much balance as possible until the land feet are down. Wouldn't think it would be necessary with a loaded container.

I do not think we can assume it is empty. The way he is unfolding the mechanism is just good technique. He appears to have done it before as the movements are well thought out and in proper sequence. That appears to be a high cube 40' container. Empty it is in the range of 9,000 pounds, max weight is about 67,000. In most cases a container is going to be dropped off either full or empty, then picked up in the opposite condition. Unless it is going to be used for temporary storage someplace.

pretty slick, those are some long hydraulic hoses to reach the back. Do you suppose the front and back have separate valves for their twinned cylinders of would they run 4 sets of hose ?

I think they would have to be separate controls for each end to be able to adjust for uneven loading of the container, or uneven ground. Guessing the long lines from from the central hydraulic valves are hard, switching to hose as needed.
