Looks like someone 3D printed a gun shaped holder for a fibre laser. There'll be a giant high power floor mounted laser source just off screen.

That's exactly what they did. Another of their videos says "Fiber laser test, long-distance laser". Looks like they're making hand-held holders for a laser cleaning machine.
