There doesn't seem to be much of an advantage - at least for the muscle man.
Huge stress on the hinges` and now a very awkward job of attaching the hoses through the bars.
Would have been easier just to slide the tanks in, hook the hoses, then close the light weight doors.

That wouldn’t have left much use for the super dramatic music though…
