Never had a zipper pull problem all the problems I've ever had with zippers were the teeth being pulled out or broken
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

I made good money in college fixing people's zippers.
The spreader would become spread and it would slip off the teeth, or the teeth would misalign, causing problems.
I'd pinch the spreader, or re-align it using two pair of pliers and . . . 'voila!' - $10
