    Something is amiss here. Typical 13th century furniture was boxy, clunky and utilitarian. The dining room pictured looks far too elegant for that time period. In fact, those dining chairs look very similar to Chippendale dining chairs I've seen.

    You are correct it was first installed in 1793 in Russia.
