Laying miles of pipe in a ditch at once - GIF

What do we have here? Butt fused HDPE pipe, that's much easier to fuse aboveground with a purpose-specific wheeled machine? Then once it's fused and pressure tested, this is how it's dropped into a ditch? Is this normal? Or drone-captured footage for internet drama?

I hate these animated GIFs. Cannot speed them up have to watch the same scene over and over.

The greatest advantage of GIFs is that they can be displayed/downloaded/shared just like non-animated GIFs, PNGs, JPEGs, without any special plugins.

Something that one can jump ahead or go back to a section to see again without having to go through the whole thing, a streaming video
gives one those options.

That's a good point. I do like the YouTube feature of pausing a video, then advancing frame-by-frame with the period and comma keys. Ideally, though, I agree - GIFs are best for short animations.

Your videos are fine Jon. Video is video. No matter the format, it is all made up of still frames.

This is a tool list, some tools are made of iron, steel, and other materials we can hold in our hands. Other tools are somewhat mystical, assembled from 1's and 0's all strung together by people with a more updated brain than mine. I never got very deep into the process of making those mystical tools. People need to learn to find and use those tools. They are probably unaware they already have the necessary tools, to do what needs to be done.

On my old MacBook Pro, OS10.12.6, discarded by my daughter, I "option + click" that video, or just right click if you have a two button mouse. Choose Download Video. This particular video comes down as MP4. It opens in Quicktime Player v. 10.4. Go to View "Show Clips". Then your right/left arrow keys move you frame by frame.

The tools may be called something different on various platforms. I have not used all platforms but the platforms compete with each other. If one can do something, soon after so will the others. I have to believe that no matter the name, the needed tools are already loaded or are a free download.

I have never found a video that this has not worked with. There may be some, but I have not found them.
