    We never see owt like that in the UK.
    I have a 1972 Land Rover Series III Truck Cab/Pick-Up and a 1962 Land Rover Series 2a Carawagon Camper.

    Very clever connection hemmjo. They do make it look easy.

    Watching the dapple grey was interesting. Lots of work horses are shod and can't manage paving.
    And no, likely that kind of exhibition is rare in the UK, I reckon.

    Prob'ly 'em hosses had borium shoes. Borium is useful in slick situations such as pavement or ice.

    Never heard of shoeing aspect, but it's close to strap on rubber ice treads people use. Makes me laugh every year, they appear on shelves around September; freezes start around late December.
