I would say, having tied many a load, that is really only a single truckers hitch, with some extra non-truckers hitch bits at the end. The single hitch is at 0:07 and the rest is just to tighten it more, but is not using any more mechanical advantage to tighten, just pulling on the hitch sideways so that it can become tighter.

What's the difference? it is the number of "pulleys". The OP video has one and the video above has two - hence double.

Do I tie off like she did in the OP video? Yup, it is simple and an easy way to keep the trucker's hitch tight while you fasten it.
