    Shop worker leather smartphone case

    Hi folks,
Here is a personal design of a "shop grade" case for smartphone.
It is made to be worn at work, either with a neck lace under the overalls or at the belt.
It includes a small pocket for a badge for instance.

See the detailed article on my Web site
I provide the template for download.

Here are a some pictures :

As a reluctant slave to mobile phones, this at least solves part of the problem...toting the clunky thing around. Lots of us westerners shun man-bags, your design wouldn't bother me at all! But around equipment I'd be tempted to sling it under left arm.
I'm so disgusted with the near-magnetic property of cells attracting call and text spam, it is turned off WAY more than on. But the message it delivers seems to discourage further tries better than blocking numbers! Now, anyone know an app to head-butt recruiters...?
    Sincerely,
    Toolmaker51

I particularly like the stout neck strap. It would be so useful for garotting those millenimorons who sit next to me at a restaurant and immediately whip out their cell phone and start a conversation with one of their two-cell* buddies using their outdoor voice.

    Oh hell, why not?
Someone come over and help me; I can't get up from ROFLOL. Two cell humans. My first vision was the nincompoop with two bluetooth ear sets....maybe one is just a plug. while garrote has some attraction, my preference leans to the Argentinian gaucho boleadora. Millienimorons hardly deserve knowing from whence it came.

BTW. If one of two cells is inhibitory, which direct bodily functions? Again, I've an old jibe. "so and so's eyes are SO brown, but not because they are filled up with root beer"

    I like your comments,
but you are giving me intentions that I do not have, I don't want to garot any body!

Being myself quite positively addict to the thing....

But for me, the thing is not any more a phone, I actually almost never phone, and do not use SMS a lot neither.
But I can not leave without the Internet, wherever I am ...
Here, dear, friends, I am using this thing to read and answer you, and if you could imagine where I am ...
Others used to spend time reading the newspaper there ...

But, I keep a social and well educated person, and I never get my phone out at the restaurant or being with friends or family
    Cheers !
    Christophe

I like the carry case you have made and can see instances where it would be really handy to have but I have my phone encased in a 3 layer OTTER box to protect it from me more than anything else. The hard plastic cocoon with the screen protector affords shock resistance which is shrouded in a thick armored rubber making it concrete prof the holster can either be clipped to my belt or hung from a pocket in me trousers like a pager
I can relate with TM51's comment as well as Marv
The only thing I find my cell phone really good for is the camera though. I rarely use it for texting unless it is to a vendor when I am searching for a particular replacement part I can snap a picture and send it then call them and discuss what I am looking for. or for taking pictures of projects I am working on.
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
