Have been involved in wood working since I was a young lad growing up in Wisconsin as and now in my seventies, living in California, I am still going strong. Am always amazed at the all the others worldwide who are so skilled at woodworking. Its a never ending learning process as might be said in the seventies and I still have MY sign "Keep on Trucking!" Its the amazing world of wood, woodworkers , hobbyists and crafts people! I have a garage full of my own work inventions that I constantly use, redo/redesign etc. Its been a long road of learning and doing for me. Young people never give up as it grows on one. Sometimes it turns out to be the good, the bad or the ugly, but eventually... its all good! Lately I have been building and designing sensory things for our grandson who is autistic but such an amazing little fellow and smart as a whip (as most kids are :-P) and I even ventured into a PVC project, okay I know its not wood, but it is because of my woodworking skills I was able to do so as well as a myriad of other things as well as my woodworking improves and assists in other areas of my life. Woodworking helps hone ones skills and the desire to build and the success of doing something well and accomplishing good and satisfying things in my life! And the things I'v done would take a lifetime! {Obviously} LOL A little humor never hurts RIGHT! [or modesty hummm!]
