    they are kind of cool looking, but I don't know why I would ever want them. I'm the only one who ever sees anything under the hood of any of my vehicles and that is maybe once every 6 months

    It would be more of a novelty thing. I could see a use in racing. When the motor starts running weird, a quick look at the valve train could be helpful.
