Well you want it to fill in behind this moron after he swims back out. You'd practically want it like water. But then he'll have to climb back in to use the screed. It's a never ending cycle.

I guess you could toss a vibrator in it for a few minutes then poll it out as soupy as that concrete looks it should level out like a mirror. if not just wait a few hours, "in this case maybe several" then trowel it out. What I wonder though is this fibered concrete. Due its seemingly obvious depth and lack of steel, being fibered would be the only thing that would make sense to me. We have no idea if they used plastizers (spelling)in it retardants. or accelerants in the mix either. The only thing I can say with any amount of certainty is without great care while it cures out the surface will chalk out on them.

You give them too much credit. There's probably two wheelbarrows, three trowels and a lawnmower in the bottom of that mess. Probably why that guy's swimming around. He's just trying to get his tools back.
