    I think you need to add a few more bricks to that counterweight just to be on the safe side.
    This is an incredible piece of, use what you have at the time, workmanship.
    Congratulations to a couple of mechanical geniuses. Bravo fellas nice work!

    P.S.—- I believe this machine is actually what they call a drag line and not a crane. Doesn’t make it any less impressive matter of fact I believe it makes it more impressive I can’t stop watching your video great work guys.

    I love this kind of thing. I used to think I would build projects like this but the modern reality is that used machinery prices are so low that I can generally buy factory made cheaper than I can build even with scrap parts. I should add that the bricks should be better restrained, imagine if they were to slide off!
