    The sawust maker.

    Good morning fellow enthusiasts.
I live in Thailand where it is very difficult to source certain tools primarily for woodworking so a site like this and youtube are invaluable for ideas and plans for making ones own.

So far I have completed a tablesaw with a 10'x 0" x 4'x 0" table for sheets of plywood, drum sander, wood lathe, belt/disc sander, work bench, and benches for my pillar drill, router table with lifting router, and mitre saw.

My woodworking skills are very limited but I try and enjoy my retirement. Wood of any decent discription is very difficult to find and mostly at least from the big DIY stores is short pieces of offcuts joined together by comb/jounts/finger joints and is a pig to plane.

    Regards David.

    Hi David,

    Welcome!

Sounds as though you're making the best of a difficult situation and are well along with your woodworking shop. By all means, let's see some photos of your work.

What's next on your build list?

    Ken
