As a young adult, I was profoundly influenced by the writings of R. J. DeCristoforo. With zero interest in woodworking, I was drawn by his approach to problems. He would put together custom fixtures and tools at the drop of a hat and get high precision results. I read his books as philosophy, not how to make sawdust.
Fast forward to today’s challenge – sawing sheet metal on my vertical bandsaw with high accuracy. Mr. DeCristoforo’s genius shines through.
