    Like the idea and the execution. I don't think it's a "sandwicher", though. I think it's more of a "baguette speculum".

    Even better for hot dogs, I hate how the buns always fall apart.

    But he's going to have to make an "in-bun" toaster, since the sandwich will not be complete without the bread being properly toasted inside and out...

    That would just be a bagel dog or corndog...
    BTW does anyone remember (US only) back in the day there was a hotdog bun shaped like a boat?
    The only example I could find was from a bakery named Toufayan.
