Sandblasting cabinet from old kitchen cupboard.

This started off as a proof of concept and then it worked so well I decided just to keep it.

Some time ago I decided to give wifie a new kitchen. The old cupboards were not bad enough just to though away and most of the top ones ended up in the garage.

The rest was stored to be converted and go into the workshop. So when the LockDown started I drew a 500 x 500 x 500 box with a taper bottom. a few cupboards were dismantled and cut to size and job done. I did not want to looses workbench space by having to put it on a work bench and I also wanted to be able to move it outside when using it because inevitable it will produce dust. The legs are 38 x 38 brandering that was surplus from a ceiling job.

As I wanted to present a complete job, I scrounged the tool shed, and workshop to get enough white paint to make it look complete.

As soon as we are unlocked i will get a strip of LED lights and fit it to the lid. The current lights shine in my eyes and if I move them to the other side they are in my way.

Nex project to build a cyclone filter powered by a leaf blower.
