-Years ago - I found a lo-res video on YT from "The first flight test of a Russian DIY Autogiro".
Remembered an odd looking thing, with "less than optimal" risk assessments or consequence analysis.
Haven't seen it around, nor found it when searching, until suddenly - the other day.
Title is "Autogyro without motor" - but he certainly and easily found a way out for propelling his contraption.
Enjoy the video - and tip to the hat for this guy's balls...
As far as my meagre research go - I guess it springs from the eminent DIY source "Model-Constructor" ,
where a search for "Автожир" /"Autogyro turns up no less than 114 hits, just like this rugged aircraft...
A few links for presumptive HMT "Aeronauts-to-be", perhaps bored during Covid-19 lockdown?
A test flight of a DIY project like these will inevitably get your adrenaline pumping:

-"I mean - how hard can it be? Hey, hold my beer while I just test this thing out..."
Just whack it together, jump in its garden chair and take it out to your country road for a spin?
Nope - I won't be held liable for ANY actions you guys undertake.
Cheers
