    Nice design. When you inserted the tailstock into the mill table T-slots before securing the nuts, it seemed like it was a pretty snug fit. Are the locating pins on the underside sized so they contact both sides of the T slot simultaneously? Does that then match up with a corresponding key on the rotary table to kind of self-center? The nut that runs against the dead center, is that purely to lock the position or was that somehow micro adjusting lateral center? I didn't quite get that part.

    Yes, it is almost snug fit and it is self-centering every time.
    M10 bolt which I was tightening with 17mm wrench is just for locking the center.
    Screw, nut and washer on the opposite side are there to prevent center from rotating.
    (in case I decide to grind top of the center tip one day)
