Yes, it was a very cool day in space (and space news) today. After ten+ years enroute, Rosetta successfully completed its mission by achieving the first soft landing on the body of a comet (67P). Congrats to ESA!
In news a bit closer to home, the first Orion capsule was rolled to the pad in the early hours of this morning for integration with its Delta IV launch vehicle in advance of a December 4th test flight. I'm looking forward to seeing the launch…

Yes, I'm about 80 miles west of the launch pads at Canaveral. I've got a clear view of each ascent from ~5-10 seconds after the vehicle clears the tower, depending on the specific rocket's first stage performance.
Very cool stuff for a lifelong space enthusiast. I remember Apollo, but wasn't living down here at the time so never saw the Saturn V fly in person. Alas…
