    That’s very clever. I see the nails are proud, from the felt. So I suppose it would not work on longer nails?

    For $797 it should collect the nails as well. That way they don’t end up in your tires!

    Well we cannot be sure exactly how they removed the shingles, but, done properly there would not be that many nails remaining. Except for a few stragglers, the nails typically come off with the shingles.

    I would name this thing the nail-epilator
    Many roofers shuck the shingles from a roof using a #1 scoop shovel with notches cut in the leading edge or a 10" wide straight hoe. The notches hang the nails and their momentum strips them out.
