The scrapyard I go to could really use one of these. A bunch of the rebar they get is shaped like a taco, pretzel, or worse. It'd be worth a lot more if they ran it through a machine like this one.

Sidebar: I can't recommend Clark Iron and Metal in Murfreesboro TN highly enough. They are a 10/10 shop. Being able to pick and buy scrap from them for $0.25/lb is literally a dream come true.

It actually HURTS me to go to the recycling place close to me. They will not sell anything. I have seen perfectly good scrap there, asked to purchase it, and been told they cannot sell it due to insurance regulations. Not sure that was just a line of BS, or what, but a lot of good usable steel goes to waste there.
