    rod size to tap for saw arbor

    Starting to gather bits for a table saw build and I thought I could connect an arbor extension into a piece of optical rod.I'm not a machinist and not sure what diameter rod I should purchase to do this and would like some advice please.Here is a link for the arbor extension I found https://www.machineryhouse.com.au/KA1028
