A sore back and Disney World all rolled into one great adventure. Probably less expensive than the latter, too.

you guys see it as entertainment, I see it as a guy who used his brain to figure out a way to slowly descend a hill without having to expend any effort holding back on the cart by using the paddle like skis attached to the cart and his weight serves as brakes or at least a retarder. Without them he would have had to bear his weight down on the back of the 2 wheeled cart while trying to use his feet. If you have ever played tug o war you know it is easy to lose your footing and hard to get it back
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Oh, I agree Frank. It is a practical application of frictional control but I bet if he applied some wax to those humble boards he could get the speed up a bit.

I would think speed is the one thing he is hoping to avoid, with a rock that is easily 3 times in mass to his body weight.
Of course, it could be his pet rock, that he is just taking out for a stroll. If that happens to be the case the return trip is really going to be interesting.

Or he could have just walked that 100 feet behind a wheel barrow.
