    The excavator operator does a lot of arm waving. I think he's disgusted with the whole operation.

    Air brake failures lead to locked brakes and you can see the wheels locked as it slides down the hill. Looks like truck driver tried to change gear and buggered it up.

    the moral there is choose a suitably low gear at the bottom then just grind up to the top in that gear, change when you get to the top
    also I suspect that the excavator's hydraulics would have been less than happy about careering backwards in forward selection....head pressure relief valves screaming their heads off.
