He probably has to do that every season. When We had our family farm while I was growing up My Uncle decided to turn a 50-acre barren field into a hay field The first time we turned the topsoil we didn't notice a single large rock. by cutting time 100s of them had floated to the surface I spent more time replacing sickle section teeth than my cousins did mowing. We spent all winter running over it with a 12-shank cultivator with 24" sweeps bringing more rocks to the surface then drug a 10 ft wide homemade finger Turn-a-pull through it hauling rocks out of that field. I don't think we ever got all of the rocks out of it, because every year more would float to the surface.
Lesson learned just because there are no rocks to be seen on virgin ground once the topsoil is broken if there are any rocks below, they will float up for ever.

DO ya really need that costly rig on the front of the nice screened bucket? Its not like that is a nice lawn. Just curious. I pick up rocks like that all the time with just a regular bucket, would be nice to have the bars to let the dirt fall out.
