She was a great lady and I'll miss her.
I was twelve when she was crowned and we had to go to a neighbor's house to watch the coronation because we didn't have a TV. It impressed me greatly and since then I've studied the monarchy in detail and delight in its contortions, both good and bad.
During the war, the lady wrenched on army trucks so, like us, she probably knew her way around a tool box.
