Not sure why they were even attempting to right it with all of the boom still connected. And not even going to ask the question as why 2 guys felt they had to walk under a load while it was being picked.
The cranes may be salvageable but the boom is trashed. It will have to be removed before the crane can be moved anyway so wrap it with thermite and det cord in a blast blanket to get rid of all but the bottom section

FIRST, topple a crane. Second, drop it on two guys. Health and safety is going to nuke this company.

I have never been around a lift that heavy, but on the smaller ones that I did assist and supervise, the first rule was no one ever got under the load.

PERIOD! NO EXCUSES!

I would have fired those two idiots. For cause!

As one who has to write LOLER lifting plans, as well as often operating the crane, excluding humans from the lift area, and the potential drop area which is always much larger, is pretty high up the hierarchy of controls list.

I'm just grossed out that the guy in black shirt put the other guy's hardhat on... no sense of hygiene! I'd fire him for that!

That's just stupid. It was always harped upon me, to NEVER stand under a load!
