The video did seem to skip over the actual repair work and only show disassembly and reassembly. Like many of these Pakastani work videos a few steps and the actual service departments are left out. Ther rotor and stator would have been tested for resistance. Possibly the stator would have rewound the rotor placed on something like a growler similar to those used to test rotors on DC starter motors new bearing would have been installed. The head would have been vacuum and pressure tested, swashplate and pistons inspected for wear any worn parts out of tolerances replaced.
Personally, having been to several Pakistani repair facilities of various types of machinery repair I feel these videos do more harm than good at informing the western world of how repairs or how remanufacturing processes are often times preformed. Most in the west have no concept of what is actually involved in doing real manual labor anymore. All we ever notice are what we see as in our minds a lack of PPE or safety measures. or the often times equipment that appears to be old and lacking in technology.

Frank, I think that you might be over complicating this. It looked to me like he was centring the stator over the rotor.
