so for someone who knows that's the "wrong way" is the "right way" using some form of puller, or is there another way to remove wipers?

YouTube can be a time saver and money saver if you don't know how to do something.

Thanks, I do use Youtube or similar for specific tasks, but thankfully I haven't needed to change a wiper arm yet. The old HQs and similar were so intuitive they don't really count, but the modern cars seem to all have little tricks.

I too have a difficult time with all the latest trends in auto mechanics. My normal proceedure is to go do it like I always have then come in nd look on YouTube when my way didn't work. Recently had to replace a headlight bulb on my 2015 Acadia. Took out all the covers from under the hood to find I could just get my finger on the cover needing to be turned ot access the bulb. YouTube showd me the obvious solution was to simply removed the inner fender and reach up through the wheel well. Who would have thunk it?

The best way to remove the wiper arm is to never buy a vehicle with one on the back window, that's what the mirrors mounted on the doors are for
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

I hope that guy in the original video got a good tip. He not only got the wiper assembly loose, but also did a little body work while he was there! That's what I call service!

For topical application, only. Not to be taken internally or used in com-
bination with other drugs or alcohol, except as directed by your shaman.
Do not operate heavy equipment, unless you actually know how to.
