Those older compresses were good for that kind of thing. They are more forgiving of being operated outside their designed envelope. The newer models over heat too quickly with no refrigerant to cool them.

Only thing about the build I question is that filter in the discharge line. That is NOT made for the kind of pressures that compressor can pump. The inlet filter is a good idea. You are at risk for blowing up that discharge filter.
