What is their expected life span? Are they still using asbestos? Do they go sailing on the weekend? Sigh.

When you trust in your deity to keep you safe, and if you die it's the deities will...

The first grooved brake pads were for a privateer racers D type jag that wouldn't stop in the rain, the grooves were cut with two hacksaw blades side-by-side in a standard frame by my father to try his idea, two leading edges to clear the water, also help clear the gases formed in the dry. Ferodo sent their top engineers to see what had been done to them when the privateer beat the factory cars in the rain as he was confident he could go faster knowing he could stop, the rest is history.
