    Remember when those new bolts you bought cheap sheared off when you tightened them by hand,about that strong:-)

    Still the carbon content not that high to make it brittle,and they get bent in all shapes for casings in any case so does it really weaken the structure(rod) if you straighten it once ?

    It's rotary swaging. Instead a simple closed die, using 4-5 individual sets. Same idea as wire roll straightening. Enough to reach first hammers from the opening, as this is fairly small rebar.
