re-purposed an old above ground swimming pool ladder

I took a discarded above ground swimming pool ladder and extended it 1' using some scrap 1" conduit.
Now it fits over the fence so I can go back and forth into and out of the pasture without using the gate.
Using the ladder keeps the livestock from rushing the gate when they see me.
