    Possibly someone who just decided to monetize someone else's protest . After all why not cash in on something like that.

    If they are giving the food away for free - and I don't know if they are - then it is a very clever concept for a protest.

    Not only does it encourage others to join the protest, but it prevents the police from disbanding the protest. They are essentially rolling around something hot and dangerous alongside their protest.

    third photo looks like they simply placed the grill on a rolling chassis for something like a grinder or other "lightweight" tool

    People who "riot" like that, for example to protest police brutality, are not not doing it to support whatever the cause might be. They are just using that as an excuse to create chaos.

    It's sad. Peaceful protest used to be a widely accepted form of speech in Western democracies.
