A common 4x6 horizontal/vertical bandsaw can make surprisingly true cuts if the fixed jaw is properly aligned. Most alignment procedures are done with the saw stopped. The procedure offered here is with the saw running. Don't worry, it is perfectly safe and should be as precise as the saw can give.
