Well, if he is in the US, he can build one legally, as long as the proper paperwork is filled out with the ATF. As for you calling for the forum admin to face legal consequences, you are barking up the wrong tree. Having information on how anything is built, from atom bombs to machine guns is not illegal.

Don't rave about things you don't know. Based on material specifications and a metric only lathe, the op is probably not in the US. Even if he is in the US, it is not illegal if he pays the tax and completes the proper paperwork before starting construction.

Hi Dr Stan - you should know that falsely and publicly accusing someone of committing a crime opens you up to litigation for a defamation per se claim. That means that someone can sue you for slander or libel, and that person doesn't have to prove damages, because certain statements are so injurious, that they are assumed to cause damages.

A quick look through your post history shows that you have a history of argumentative and aggressive posts.

This is a really cool build, and abusive behavior toward the builder is not allowed here. We want to encourage more builds like this, not less.

It *is* a suppressor. There's no such thing as a firearm silencer. The fact that the gun is not made silent should be your first clue. Suppressor = muffler.

I might suggest you do a due diligence of the validity of your rather rash and derogatory statement before calling for possible legal action to be taken on an individual.

Many states do not even require applying for or paying for a tax stamp to own a suppressor. And by the way there is no such thing as a true silencer. it is possible to highly suppress the explosive retort of a fire arm but it is never completely silenced. one can simply tape a large plastic drink bottle to the muzzle of a fire armand greatly reduce the retort to a much lower noise level however this only functions well the first time the weapon is fired. The same thing will happen to even be most elaborately designed suppressors degradation of efficiency begins with the first round discharged.
